  Consistently good service, good food, good variety of menu items including dessert. The owners, Gene and Linda, dine here and Gene will sometimes walk around to greet customers and if you're curious he'll share some historical information with you. Plenty of parking, easy to access on a corner lot. Not a modern building but that's part of its character. Lots of comfy booth seating but also tables and a few tables for small groups or families.

  Eaten there for the first time last week. Good food. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because when we asked for a to go box the first one had food residue and the second one had hair. Makes me wonder if this place is highly sanitary???

  Not my kinda bbq, rib dinner is 5 bones and 12 bucks. No slab, a dinner had to have 7-8 bones. We ordered pulled pork sandwich with Mac & cheese and baked beans. Pork was good and moist and the sides were just average. It is a local spot and I always hope you find a GEM but for me not this time. The hush puppies were very light and tasty.
